KHS Wins IEAT 2026 Outstanding SME Trade Award
Selected from a pool of 6,700 member companies as one of 10 outstanding SMEs
KHS Synchemica Corp.(KHS) is proud to have received the 2026 Outstanding SME Trade Award from the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT). The company was formally recognized at IEAT's 80th Anniversary Celebration Gala on September 16, 2026. The award honors companies that demonstrate exceptional business performance, a strong commitment to international markets, and meaningful contributions to Taiwan's international trade. This recognition affirms KHS's longstanding commitment to sound management and professional service, while highlighting its competitive strengths and proven capabilities in global trade.
The awards were jointly presented by the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT) and the Federation of Importers and Exporters Associations of the Republic of China, with professional corporate research support from CRIF Taiwan. The selection covered 6,700 IEAT member companies and followed a rigorous four-stage process: Eligibility Screening, Business Performance Analysis, Regulatory Compliance and Integrity Review, and Expert Panel Evaluation.
The initial screening examined IEAT membership status, paid-in capital, and import/export performance. The next stage assessed average business performance over the three-year period from 2022 to 2024, using eight objective financial metrics: net revenue, net profit after tax, revenue growth rate, net profit margin, return on equity (ROE), return on assets (ROA), sales per employee, and productivity. Compliance with applicable laws, business integrity, and other eligibility criteria were also reviewed. Finally, experts from industry, government, and academia evaluated each company's representativeness and contribution to international trade.
Following this rigorous review and objective, data-driven evaluation, 28 outstanding companies were selected from the pool of 6,700 IEAT member companies. Of these, 18 received the Outstanding Enterprise Trade Award and 10 received the Outstanding SME Trade Award. KHS is proud to be among the 10 SME award recipients. The awards recognize more than business scale: they consider profitability, operational efficiency, growth potential, financial soundness, and corporate integrity. This comprehensive approach underscores the rigor, credibility, and significance of the recognition.
